Juneberry Baby: Sully's 'Safari' First Birthday Party . . .

Okay, first and foremost, I am going to apologize for the extensive amount of pictures, but as this is my own son, Sullivan's, very first birthday party, I wanted to make sure I showed you all of the details.  We tried to keep things simple and really wanted a theme that meant something to him and that would make us smile whenever we looked back on his big day!

When Sully was two months old, his Aunt Katey came to visit from Pennsylvania and gave him this sweet little Bright Starts Lion Teether:

Well from the minute Sully laid eyes on this little guy, he was in absolute love.  He became known in our house as 'Mr. Lion' and the two were instant best friends.  In fact, every single smiling picture we have of Sully from his first 6 or so months are the result of a dancing Mr. Lion behind the camera.  So with that said, choosing a theme for our sweet boy's birthday was kind of a no-brainer . . .

Roll-ups that remind me of my restaurant days . . .

And personalized wine labels add a touch of fun . . .

'Safari Swag' favor bags full of safari hats and all sorts of jungle animal goodies . . .

Cake bunting, my favorite!

The invitations  . . .

Luke, Lilah, & Sully get some play in . . .

Colten's mama gives her little monkey some munchies . . .

Sweet Lilah & her mama lounge on the lawn . . .

While the boys rough house in the pool . . .

Cake smash time!

Like father, like son . . .

So very simple and such a great way for us to look back on this first year and remember how much Sully loved his Mr. Lion.  The paper goods were made especially for Sullivan's party by Juneberry Lane, so if you have an event of your own with a theme in mind, no matter how rare, send us a message and we'll go ahead and custom design the supplies for you!  Have a great Monday!!
