Wedding Wednesday: The Sweetest Little Flower Girl & Ring Bearer Announcements:)

I am loving this adorable trend that is growing more popular by the minute at weddings everywhere; brides & grooms tossing up the idea of the more traditional scattering of flower petals and using pretty announcement signs for their flower girls & ring bearers instead.

Less messy, super sweet, and an open doorway to endless creativity, these signs make absolutely terrific props for your wedding photos also ~ so basically, you can have your cake and eat it too!

And for the trip back down the aisle . . .

These signs are the perfect way to announce the newlyweds as they make their first stroll as husband & wife, don't you think?  You can either have a trusty adult all prepped for the sign exchange sitting in the front row, or make the banner double-sided, if your littlest wedding party members are old enough to understand.

Free Thanksgiving Banner & A Thanksgiving Line of Invites:)

This little 'Turkey Day' banner was such fun to design, and as I am in a thoroughly thankful mood over our upcoming holiday season, I figured it was time to say THANK YOU to all of YOU!

You have made me such a happy girl with all of your wonderful comments, orders, and loyal readership in general, that I want to start showing my gratitude with more regular freebies!

I had a little fun stringing it to my own mantle, just to give you the idea, but if you scroll down below you can download the files to print & cut your very own.  Here it is and I hope you enjoy!

You can either print it up and glue it to a solid paper stock backing (if you are really feeling fancy-I recommend turquoise; surprise, surprise:), or just cut it along the borders (like I did!).  Use scissors or an exacto knife to make two small slits in the upper corners, and string it up with twine or yarn to hang wherever you choose!

Each banner flag is sized to be 4 inches by 4 inches at its widest point, so plan your decorating accordingly:)  And don't forget your raffia, baker's twine, or ribbon to string your bunting with.  I like using an exacto knife to make a small slit on both upper corners and stringing each banner flag along your twine (you can use a hole punch if you are using a thicker twine or ribbon to string your banner with:).  If you happen to overdo it with the exacto, just use a bit of tape on the back of your flags and you will be good to go!
