Palette Perfection ~ Fall 2013 Color Report . . .

You know I love that time of year when we get to analyze the trends and declare what is hip & happening for every season!  Fall's colors this year are vibrant & rich, with emerald still going strong, which I won't complain about one bit.

I put together a bit of color inspiration to give you a few fresh ideas when planning your home decorating projects for the remainder of this year.  I have never really been a neutral girl, so the promise of all of these bright shades being readily available in accessories and textiles makes me positively giddy, of course.  Just take a look . . .

First up . . . EMERALD!!

This kitchen is such a dream . . .

Leave it to beautiful Greece to provide the inspiration for this gorgeous MYKONOS BLUE . . .

The last few years this fruit has been all the rage when it comes to eating healthy, and now it has taken over the fashion, design, & event world too!  Take a look at ACAI . . .

Nothing livens a place up like SAMBA . . .

Don't you just love a creative name for a muted orange like KOI . . .

Oh how I adore seeing a rich, deep pink taking front and center like VIVACIOUS . . .

And nothing compliments a bright hue such as Samba or Vivacious like a cool LICHEN . . .

Ooh, love the steely TURBULENCE grey . . .

And always one of my favorites is a nice, cool CARAFE (would look magnificent paired with Vivacious, don't you think?)

Holy smokes, that was a ton of inspiration!  I hope that got those fashion, decorating, & event planning wheels a-turning . . . there is so much dressing up and party throwing to be done over the next few months ~ a carafe & koi front porch for the fall perhaps? Photobucket
