A Sparkly, Vintage Dream of a Baby Shower . . .

I love glitter.  I love sparkles.  But MOST of all, I love glitter & sparkles when the decorations are done right...not in that shiny, 1980s majorette/baton twirler costume way, but that ever-so-lustrous, vintage-chic style.  Well I don't know what I am rambling on about.  Just see this beautiful baby shower via Grey Likes Baby below, and you'll get the idea . . .

Please look closely at the detail of that gorgeous table top...beautiful, brushed gold sequins with a lovely cascade of pale tulle underneath . . .

And how about that gorgeous rug?

Loving that pretty, blush glassware . . .

And what a statement that cake topper makes, not to mention the perfectly place silver table linens . . .

Sigh.  Now that is just plain dreamy!!  Hope your week is wrapping up nicely....it is almost Friday!!!

Juneberry Baby: A 'Ready-to-Pop' Baby Shower!

A few months back we featured the most gorgeous & scrumptious little popcorn favors for an oh-so-pretty & fun baby shower or sprinkle, so when I spotted this coordinating 'Ready to Pop' baby shower from Le Partie Sugar via Kara's Party Ideas, well I certainly couldn't resist sharing it with you!!

And what better way to convey that the mom-to-be is ready to pop than with mini-Champagne bottles to 'pop' open on 02.29.12 (baby’s due date), Pop Rocks, Gumballs, Kettle Popcorn, and Cake Pops?  Fun, fun, fun . . . just take a look!

From champagne, to Rosé, to Italian Soda, to sparkling water; bubbles, bubbles, & more bubbles . . .

And who doesn't love an open bar?  Well, a popcorn bar that is . . .

Juneberry Baby: The Sweetest Shower Idea . . .

Throwing a baby shower for your BFF and looking for a creative & fun little project to get your companions crafting?  I just love this 'Make-a-Mobile' idea from On To Baby and brought to you via the great Wiley Valentine!

What an amazing way to get your guests mingling while sparking their creativity at the same time; and best yet, what a wonderful keepsake for the baby-on-the-way to enjoy when he/she makes their sweet little appearance!!  Take a look . . .

EXTRA, EXTRA! A Nifty 'Newsprint' Baby Shower!

We have been so obsessed with weddings over here at Juneberry Lane, that I realized it has been awhile since we've featured any baby showers and I thought this marvelous Monday in January would be just the day to do it!

Brought to us by Layla Grace via Amy Atlas, this vintage-inspired 'Newsprint-themed Baby Shower' is downright darling, not overly frilly, and completely gender neutral too!  Take a look . . .

Heirloom Bakery catered sweet treats including cupcakes like Hostess-styled cupcakes and carrot cake cupcakes. The cake was a lemon cake filled with lemon curd and cream cheese frosting . . .

Vintage newsprint wrapped Hydrangea were displayed throughout the party in Gabby numbered crates and as centerpieces on the table . . .

And guests were even greeted with an inspired message in the form of headlines {sitting in a vintage typewriter!} inviting them to take candy treats wrapped in newsprint wax paper . . .

I love the neutral palette and all of the vintage-inspired details too!  Even the little crossword game fits perfectly into the theme!!  I hope your week has gotten off to a great start!!

A Brilliant 'Bun in the Oven' Baby Shower . ..

The lovely ladies from Posh Paperie have done it again!  Remember the fantastic French 'Pique Nique' shower we featured last Spring?  Well, they are back at it with an adorable 'Bun in the Oven' Baby Shower that is just so simple & sweet, perfect for that couple who just can't see themselves celebrating with jungle animals or owls & birds.

Check it out . . .

Love this grey chevron pattern with the vintage paper straws . . .

And I simply can't get over this marvelous red & white baker's twine . . .

A Bundt Bar?  How fantastic!

What a sweet little take-home treat . . .

I just love that red & grey palette, so gender neutral & chic, right?  Those ladies from Posh sure know how to throw a party; take a stroll down memory lane and revisit that Pique Nique Shower if you don't believe me . . . never too over-the-top but always full of fabulous little details!!
